Florida State outlasted Miami at home, 92-85. The Canes mounted a late comeback to cut a 17 point deficit down to 7, but Florida State hit 5-7 shots down the stretch to close out the game. Makayla Timpson had a terrific game, hitting 10 of 13 shots for 25 points to go with 9 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 steals. Ta’Niya Latson had another scoring outburst, racking up 21 points and dishing out 6 assists. For the Canes, Lashae Dwyer led her team with 23 points before fouling out. Destiny Harden contributed 20 points, and Haley Cavinder had 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
